Clinical Trial Representation Scorecard

CARER Group co-founder William Fitzsimmons, a life sciences entrepreneur and academic, spearheaded the creation of the CARER Clinical Trial Representation Scorecard. 

This instrument was designed to evaluate equitable representation within the US population in the registrational clinical trials for novel drugs and biological products approved by US Food & Drug Administration.

The criteria examined on this scorecard are Age, Sex, Race, and Ethnicity.

Our aim is to ensure that all groups will be appropriately represented in future clinical trials.
